VGA (Video Graphics Array) - Definition
VGA is an abbreviation for Video Graphics Array, which is a minimum standard for image display of resolutions consisting of 640 x 480 pixels and up, as well as a minimum of 16 colors. With VGA, the image would have 640 rows and 480 columns comprised of pixels, which would appear good on a computer monitor. However, if the image were to be enlarged, distortion would occur.
