Port Replicator - Definition
A Port Replicator has many names to include PC Port, Parallel Port, Serial Port, Network Port and USB Port. Port replicators are used with laptop and notebook computers, creating a way for the portable computer to be used as a desktop. With this device, the computer can be attached easily to the port replicator and then use devices such as a fax or printer that are not portable.
