Windows Vista™ includes a new feature known as the Sidebar. It is an area of your desktop where you can store small programs, called gadgets, to quickly access information. For instance, you can display the latest news headlines so you don’t have to be interrupted while you work visiting other web sites. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to display the Windows Sidebar.
To Open And Display The Vista Windows Sidebar
- Click the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
- Then click All Programs.
- Now click on the Accessories folder.
- Then click on Windows Sidebar.
- Windows Vista will then open the Windows Sidebar.
Note: You can also open the Windows Sidebar by clicking the Start button and then typing sidebar into the Start menu search box, and then pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.
