Keygen - Definition
Keygen is an abbreviation for Key Generator. It is usually a software generator program that creates a key or CD-KEY for a software program so that a user can install it on his or her computer. Keygens are often used in software piracy because the user illegally copied the software and needs a serial key or registration number in order to install the software onto a computer system. Keygens are made available by software cracking groups for free download on various websites dedicated to software piracy.
