History List - Definition
A History List is a drop-down menu, usually accessed by clicking down arrow at the end of the address bar, in a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox. It contains a log of the latest document titles and web page URLs you have visited while surfing the Web. It’s a convenience feature as it lets you jump back to where you’ve been without having to repeatedly click on the Back button to find a recently visited page.
