Group Name - Definition

A Group Name is a unique name identifying a local group or a global group to Windows. A Group’s Name cannot be identical to any other group name or user name in its own domain or computer. Group Names are limited to 30 characters within the DB2® database system and can be a combination of upper and lowercase characters. However, they are usually converted to uppercase within the DB2 database.
