Frame Relay - Definition
A Frame Relay is a protocol, or set of rules, for sending packets or bundles of information. It is used across the interface between user devices (such as, routers, bridges, host machines) and network equipment (such as switching nodes). A frame includes a description of the packet (for example, plain text, HTML, images), the address of where it is going, and the return address.
