Embedded Object - Definition

An Embedded Object refers to information created in another program that has been pasted inside your document. When information is embedded, you can edit the information in the new document using toolbars and menus from the original program. Embedded information is not actually linked to the original source. If you change the embedded information in one place, it will not be updated in the other.
