Drive - Definition
A Drive is an area of storage that is formatted with a file system and is usually assigned a drive letter. The storage can be a floppy disk, a zip disk, an optical disk drive, a hard disk, a tape drive, a flash memory drive or another type of disk. You can view the contents of a drive by clicking its icon in My Computer.
