Desktop - Definition
A Desktop is a type of computer design to sit on or under a desk. Typically, you would see a Desktop Computer as a tower system with a separate monitor and keyboard. Often, a Desktop Computer System will be referred to as a Workstation. Desktop also is a term that refers to the on-screen work area on which windows, icons, menus, and dialog boxes appear for the user to interact with the operating system.
