Cyberspace - Definition

The term Cyberspace was first coined by William Gibson in the writing of his book, “Neuromancer”. Today, Cyberspace is a reference to the complete range of data resources available through a computer’s network and the internet. Additionally, Cyberspace relates to communities developed through a computer’s common use of these types of resources, as well as the culture that develops these electronically connected communities. Essentially you can say, Cyberspace is where the global community of computer linked individuals and groups exist using commonly shared resources.
