Windows keeps track of all Internet Web Sites that you type into the Internet Explorer Address Bar. This can be beneficial because as you start typing a recently visited site, Internet Explorer will immediately drop down a listing of Website Addresses based upon what you are typing. This allows you to click on any of the listed Web Site Addresses without finishing your typing. However, this drop down Address feature can have possible ramifications if you wish to have your recently visited Sites kept confidential. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to fully clear the contents of the Internet Explorer Address Bar.
