Burner - Definition
A burner in relation to a computer is a device that allows users to record data and/or music onto a recordable CD and/or DVD. The way in which a burner works is by downloading music from legitimate websites and/or local data from your hard drive and then transferring or “burning” it onto the recordable CD/DVD media. Once the transfer is complete, the individual can store his data backup elsewhere for safe keeping and/or listen to the music from the CD the same as with a purchased music CD.
