Browser - Definition
A Browser is client software designed to look at, interact with, find, and hear information found on the Web. This type of software helps with searching and viewing with may popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Netscape Navigator. In most cases, the Browser will display documents found in HTML, which is Hypertext Markup Language. Some Browsers also permit end users to send and receive e-mail, read newsgroups, and play sound or video files that are embedded in Internet documents.
